Good Morning Americans for the Arts Members,

Happy May! I hope April showers have brought some beautiful May flowers for you. DC is currently in full bloom and gorgeous. This is a reminder that tomorrow, May 21 at 3:00PM EDT we will be hosting our monthly Member Briefing. This month, I will be joined by Jay Dick, Senior Director of State and Local Government Affairs with Americans for the Arts (AFTA), for a conversation about AFTA’s Public Partnerships.  Jay will discuss partnerships AFTA has built with organizations like the United States Conference of Mayors, the National Associations of Counties, the National Conference of State Legislatures, and more. He will also discuss why it is been important for AFTA to build these partnerships, how they directly affect your work locally, the connection to federal policy, and how you can apply what we've learned through our relationship building as you build your own partnerships.

Member Briefings are our monthly opportunity to talk to you about what’s happening now! Join in and stay up-to-date on what’s happening at Americans for the Arts and across the sector. These calls are for you, so please let me know if there’s a topic you’d like to know more about.

We hope to see you tomorrow!

Best,

Cristyn
