COVID-EX(change)

for Local Arts Agency Members

serving mid-sized cities/regions (population 100K-350K)

JUNE 4, 1:00 EDT

REGISTER NOW

Due to demand, Americans for the Arts has added one more peer dialogue for LAAs serving mid-sized cities and regions (populations 100K-350K) to facilitate member exchange around COVID-19 challenges and recovery strategies. These facilitated peer exchanges are a benefit exclusively for Americans for Arts members.

The conversation will explore challenges and positive actions regarding but not limited to:

·       what LAAs are doing in the short-term and expect to do as they move into recovery;

·       how LAAs are connecting with constituents;

·       ways LAAs are working in the context of broader community recovery efforts.

Video calls are geared for staff members who have a good overview of agency work and community needs at this time (e.g. EDs, program directors); please just one individual per organization. Calls are limited to 30 people to allow for full participation.

To register, [click here].  Please note that registration will be limited to 30 participants, so we recommend registering promptly. Also, please only one person per organization. (If you already registered for the May 28th or June 2nd EX(change) for this population group, we ask you to consider making space for others who did not have the chance to register.)

These conversations complement Americans for the Arts’ recent field surveys and will inform our programs and services, messaging, and policy efforts. We’ll also be listening for stories and examples to share with the field regarding how cultural organizations and artists are taking effective actions that make legible the crucial role for art and artists and bolster the value proposition of supporting art and artists in policy decisions.

Thank you and register now as space for each exchange is limited!

Best,

Jerelle Jenkins
