Hello members!

As you may know, October is National Arts & Humanities Month (NAHM). This year, there is an exciting new element – a Poster Competition! This national competition is offering cash prizes for the top three posters representing the theme of “Championing the Creative Spirit”. The NAHM Poster Competition launches TODAY, August 15, and we hope you will share the details with artists in your communities!

Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, September 6 at 5:00 p.m. ET. Semi-finalists will be announced September 15 and online public voting will run until September 30. The artists who create the designs with the three highest vote totals will be announced on October 3 and will receive cash prizes. The design with the most votes will be featured throughout National Arts & Humanities Month!

To help you get the word out, we have created a social media toolkit (attached) with sample language for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Newsletters. You can find the complete competition details HERE!

I can’t wait to see the incredible creativity our member networks foster! Good luck!
