Hello/Hola, ACLC Network Colleagues:
Hope you all have a great start to your week today. I wanted to nudge you in thinking about nominating colleagues doing amazing work in the arts and culture field. I’m happy
to answer any questions you have.
Americans for the Arts is now accepting nominations of arts leaders from your community for one of seven 2019 Annual Leadership Awards. These awards recognize the achievements of individuals,
organizations, or programs committed to enriching their communities through the arts and are presented each year in conjunction with Annual Convention, taking place June 13-16,
2019 in the Twin Cities, Minnesota.
Award categories include the Alene
Valkanas State Arts Advocacy Award, the Arts Education Award,
the American Express Emerging Leaders Award, the Michael
Newton Award, the Selina Roberts Ottum Award,
the Public Art Network Award, and the Robert
E. Gard Award.
Nominations close Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:59 P.M. ET. You must be a member of
Americans for the Arts to submit nominations; nominees, however,
are not required to be members of Americans for the Arts. Members must log in to their Americans for the Arts account to submit a nomination.
Each award has its own evaluation criteria. Be sure to review the rules
and regulations for each award before submitting your nomination. Visit the Annual Awards page for
more information or to submit a nomination.
