Hi all,
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to share with you a few opportunities at the Americans for the Arts’ Annual Convention!
As always, the Americans for the Arts’ Annual Convention has numerous opportunities to dive deep into topics about arts education. Ranging from social opportunities to sessions, and keynotes, you can check out the
full list of opportunities here.
This year’s annual convention will feature an arts education preconference on Creative youth Development. As a core component of the development of the CYD Toolkit (to be released in 2019), this preconference will feature youth keynote,
deep dive sessions, and a futures workshop to envision the future of CYD programs and the field.
Check out the preconference agenda here.
Please register your attendance at the preconference here.
If you or your staff are looking for a great way to save in order to attend our upcoming Convention in Denver, the application deadline to volunteer has been
extended to May 14, 2018.
Americans for the Arts is pleased to offer a limited number of discounted registration rates to volunteers (who are
current AFTA professional members) to help offset the cost of the convention registration fees. Volunteers who work during the convention will receive a discounted rate of $275 for the full convention. To be considered you must register at the full rate
and you will be reimbursed post-Convention for the difference after successful completion of your volunteer duties.
To apply, please click here.
Should you have any questions about any of the material presented above, please do not hesitate to reach out.
My best,
Jeff
