I wanted to send a quick note that I hope you can tune in for the upcoming webinar,
“Shop Local Artists Week: The Ins and Outs of Launching Your Own Celebration,"
this Friday, October 26 at 3:00 pm Eastern.
The webinar will highlight the
Northshore Cultural Economy Coalition’s efforts in launching Shop Local Artists Week locally and statewide in Louisiana. In addition, Kim Bergeron, Founder and Chair of Northshore Cultural Economy Coalition, and I will discuss how this local initiative
could be transformed into a national, “little a” advocacy initiative to promote local artists and the creative economy post the flurry of midterm elections and before the year’s end—as well as provide resources for state and local arts leaders to create, advocate,
and promote their own Shop Local Artists Week celebrations.
