Hello, all:
Details below on two upcoming opportunities, for your info and to share:
Blue Star Museums (Registration now open)
The National Endowment for the Arts has opened registration for the
Blue Star Museums program, in partnership with Blue Star Families. The program, now in its 10th year, encourages museums, zoos, botanical gardens, historic houses, etc. to offer free
admission to active duty military personnel and up to five family members. The program begins on Armed Services Day May 18th and ends Labor Day. Please consider
registering for this program; it’s a great way to express appreciation for their service and sacrifice, and a great way to recruit life-time museum goers!
How to Do Creative Placemaking Webinar Series (Final series installment on April 10)
The final installment, Formalizing Partnership: Contracts, MOUs & Agreements, in the How to Do Creative Placemaking webinar series, will be held on April 10, 2019 at 2pm ET. The series is hosted in partnership
with Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC) and supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and The Kresge Foundation. Registration for the April event is open; the full series of past webinars is also available for viewing online.
