Thanks for this information. We looked into such an alliance for our cultural coalition. The drawback; You need 1000 family members, which we don’t have in our city. Has anyone found insurance for a smaller pool of members?

ArtsWave has a Health Insurance Alliance (a MEWA) with about 20 arts organizations as members and over 1,000 arts employees and family members under the umbrella.

 

We are able to get much more competitive rates than any single organization could. The savings to our Greater Cincinnati arts sector are considerable.
