Dear Local Arts Members,

 

I have a member in Florida whose county assessor has decided that their entire property is no longer tax exempt because they periodically rent out areas for weddings, etc.  Does anyone have examples of this from your city and if so, how did it turn out.

 

I have some examples of payment in lieu of taxes and a few older examples of this (which had successful outcomes), but was wondering if anyone is currently dealing with this and/or recently has went experienced this.
