Hi all,
I hope everyone is doing well! I’m in the final stages of planning sessions for the
2021 virtual Annual Convention (June 8-11, 2021), and am trying to spotlight a couple different types of work—seeking examples from you all, if you’ve got them!
- I’m building a session around
capacity building from public and private entities to support long-term, equitable
digital capacity in cultural organizations. Do you have a funding or PD/support program that either during COVID or more broadly is supporting increasing digital competency, encouraging equity-centered practices for recording/sharing/distributing
work, compensating artists, etc? I would love to know about it and talk with you about adding you to this session! Please email me at
clord@artsusa.org.
- We are looking to spotlight
short video clips of art created during the pandemic and lockdown via funding or support from local arts agencies. If you have short videos of performance, tours of murals or other interventions, or other short video-based content that you’d be willing
to share and let us highlight during the Annual Convention, please let me know by emailing me at
clord@artsusa.org.
Thank you all in advance for any thoughts or ideas you have—keep well!
Clay
PS – If you haven’t yet registered,
please consider doing so! The Annual Convention is only $49 for members this year for 4 days of content, so bring your whole team—if you have any questions about the Convention, please let me know, and thank you!
