Hello, all!

Thank you!

Good morning,

On June 23, the National Endowment for the Arts announced the guidelines and application materials for two programs to distribute American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds. These programs are open to nonprofit arts and culture organizations and local arts agencies, regardless of whether they have received NEA funding in the past. This is a change from previous emergency funding requirements at the NEA and significantly expands access to federal funds for the arts and culture sector. The NEA encourages applications from first-time applicants, and will offer workshops, question and answer sessions, and other resources for those new to federal funding.

The press release about the guidelines is available at arts.gov. It includes links to the guidelines, applicant resources, and other materials. In addition, we have created a mini-toolkit with a newsletter/website blurb, sample social media posts, and a graphic. Please feel free to use these tools to share this grant opportunity with your audiences.

We also wanted to draw your attention to a webinar we are holding on Wednesday, June 30 at 4:00 p.m. ET about the ARP grants to organizations opportunity. We also have an archive available of a recent webinar for local arts agencies considering applying for subgranting through Grants for Arts Projects and/or the American Rescue Plan.

Thank you,
