Dear Local Arts Leaders,

Following up on a previous email where I let you know that our partner, the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) had created a state ARP tracker.

After NCSL published their tracker, I contacted them to ask if they could add an Arts and Culture filter.   Today, they let me know that they have added a Arts, Culture and Tourism filter to their tracker.  As you can see, there have been 10 states so far that have set aside state ARP funds for the Arts, Culture and Tourism.   As more states make final decisions, AFTA will work with NCSL to add to their tracker’s database.

If your state has already appropriated ARP funds, or you know they are in the process, please send me an email so I can keep an eye out and/or ask NCSL to add it to their tracker.

This is separate from AFTA’s own ARP State and Local Arts Tracker which we encourage you to check out and add to if you have final or even proposed ARP funding for the Arts.

Americans for the Arts continues to work with our various public partners, like the Nation Conference of State Legislatures, to help promote the value and importance of the creative economy on the national level to help give state and local arts advocates additional resources to make your case to your own elected officials.

If you have any questions or thoughts, just let me know.

Jay
