Dear Colleague,
This is a reminder of two upcoming grant deadlines for individual artists.
Thank you in advance for sharing these national opportunities with artists in need in your community.
Deadline May 20, 2022: For professional dancers in need, who have a dire financial emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the national
Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grants provide funding for essential expenses such as housing, medicine/healthcare, utilities, and food. Open to dancers living anywhere in the U.S., its territories, Tribal nations or the District of Columbia.
Cycle 3 is open through May 20, 2022; up to $5,000 may be requested for emergency expenses for up to a three-month period between January 1 and September 30, 2022.

Deadline June 7, 2022: For visual artists, film/video/digital/electronic artists and choreographers
in need, the national Rauschenberg Emergency Grants support expenses for recent medical, dental or mental health emergencies. Up to $5,000 may be requested for treatment that has already occurred, is currently taking place, and/or is on hold
because of the artist’s lack of funds. Cycle 13 is open through June 7, 2022 for emergencies that occurred October 1, 2021 and later). Open to artists living anywhere in the U.S., its territories, Tribal nations or the District of Columbia.
