Hello Local Arts Network Members!
I’m delighted to invite you to attend an upcoming network call on May 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. EST.
During this second installment of our quarterly Private Sector Network calls, we will continue to explore what defines the creative economy and hear about examples across the country on how this
work is addressing broader community issues. This call is open to all AFTA members and particularly those interested in learning more about private sector work.
We’ll hear from Susan Soroko, Director, Creative Economy at Arlington Economic Development, and Jonathon Glus, Director of Culture and Creative Economy at the Sacramento
Metropolitan Arts Commission. Susan will discuss how engaging the creative economy is helping to address empty storefronts and vacant spaces in Arlington. Jonathon will present on Sacramento’s new grantmaking program that will soon support creative entrepreneurs.
Please Register on ArtsU to attend the call.
Many thanks and we look forward to the discussion!
Best,
Jessica Stern
