Good morning Mid-Career Leaders,
I hope you are having a great start to your week. I wanted to take a moment to share with you the following message from the Emerging Leaders Council Co-Chairs. The ELC has worked hard at curating an amazing blog salon entitled, “Using
Our Power to Make Change Through the Arts,” featuring 11 stories from leaders of color in the arts field. We’re hoping you will take a few minutes each day this week to check out the blogs. You won’t be disappointed!
Best,
Cristyn

Subject: [Americans for the Arts] Using Our Power to Make Change Through the Arts - an Emerging Leaders Blog Salon
Hello Emerging Leaders!
From today until May 11, the Emerging Leaders Council in curating a blog salon entitled “Using
Our Power to Make Change Through the Arts.” We have asked artists and arts administrators of color from around the country to respond to this prompt. Through their blog posts, the authors will share stories, visions,
and philosophies of people working towards change in the arts and its leadership -- exploring what power they have to create change.
On your next coffee/tea break,
take five minutes to read our first posts of the blog salon - and please feel free to comment on these blog posts and share them on social media! We want your voice in this conversation.
Cheers
Elisheba Johnson and Todd Trebour
