Based on feedback and rising interest in strengthening the peer-to-peer network and making space for the community of practice, we are pleased to announce the launch of a new
network, Rural Arts. We invite staff and volunteers that work in a rural based Local Arts Agency, Nexus organization, arts and culture organization or organization that serves or supports a rural based community. We will invite your participation and feedback
and will share our general plans for the coming year. We are also very excited to have two presenters share a little about the history and current state of community arts work.

With support from the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation, we recently completed a pilot for a digital classroom that focuses on the role of arts administrators in local arts agencies
that support individual artists. We will share insights and learnings from the recent pilot, learn more about the Artists Thrive initiative from Heather Pontonio, Art Program Director with the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation and participate in a short workshop
presentation around inclusion by Dr. Brea Heidelberg.
