Hi Everyone,

I wanted to be sure that you all are aware of a new session we will hold this year at Convention in the hopes that those of you who are attending will join us.

On Friday, June 14 from 9am-11am in the Duluth Room we will hold a panel and roundtable discussion on several topics related to supporting and sustaining the creative economy in your community. We’ll be joined by panelists Jonathon Glus with the City of San Diego, Dee Schneidman from the New England Foundation on the Arts, and Christine Harris of Christine Harris Connections and who spearheaded the research for America's Creative Economy: A Study of Recent Conceptions, Definitions, and Approaches for Measurement across the USA (2013). The panel will be moderated by Susan Soroko of Arlington’s Office of Economic Development and Creative Economy, and Maryann Lombardi with Washington D.C.’s Office of Cable TV, Film, Music, and Entertainment.

We hope you can join us for what we believe will be a robust conversation!

Many thanks and looking forward to seeing many of you next week!
