Hi Everyone,

For some time, Americans for the Arts has ceased to administer the Business Volunteers for the Arts (BVA) program on a national scale. In lieu of this, I am working on re-focusing our resources to the field on the work of employee engagement and the value add of businesses partnering with the arts, whether it be through volunteerism, arts-based training, corporate arts challenges etc. I know that many of your organizations still run a business volunteers for the arts, volunteer lawyers for the arts, or other employee engagement-related programming.

I’m writing to ask a few questions:

  1. Can you let me know if you are still running one of these types of programs? If so, which program?
  2. What resources, research, tools, and/or peer connections would be useful to you from Americans for the Arts?
  3. Are you considering changing or starting any kinds of employee engagement programming?
  4. Is the BVA information available on our site still useful to you or would you like to see something else?

Feel free to reply-all if you’d like to share with the network, otherwise you can simply reply just to me.

Many thanks for your input as I navigate adjusting our offerings.

Best,
