Happy Friday PAN Listserv,

Over the fall I was lucky enough to work with a fantastic intern, Kimberly O’Keeffee. As part of her work she developed a paper on how to do crowdfunding for public art. “Crowdfunding in Public Art” provides an overview of the current state of the crowdfunding field as it relates to public art, looks at the benefits and drawbacks of online fundraising, and highlights techniques for marketing your campaign and engaging stakeholders. It recommends what to look for when choosing an online platform, offers success stories of projects that used crowdsourcing to fund public art, and advises on how to decide if crowdfunding is right for your project.

To take a short look at what she found during her research, take a look at her blog post of the same title.

Thank you to Kimberly and I hope her work helps you out there in the field!
