Two years ago we did a mural painted directly on the street using traffic paint.  The artist purchased a based and custom mixed all of her colors.  The paint was available from Home Depot and Lowe’s.  My recollection was that this was the most cost effective solution she found for painting directly on the street.

The mural was created for an event and was intended to be temporary.  I enjoyed watching the mural age and change with time and seasons.  This past summer the aging mural was paved over.

Subject: Concrete or traffic paint?

Has anyone used “concrete paint” or “traffic paint” used for streets?

Does it have a good range of colors available?

What is the expense compared to other high quality paints such as NOVA or Golden?

What are the brands or places to purchase it?

Thanks,
