The Howard Hughes Corporation, in collaboration with the Howard County Arts Council, is seeking artists for the 2019 Merriweather District Artist-in-Residence (MD AIR) program in Downtown Columbia, MD.
Up to 3 artists will receive a $10,000 stipend, studio space, and living space for up to 6 weeks to create artwork in the Merriweather District from May 13 – June 24, 2019. MD AIR is open to local, national and international artists working in all media; priority consideration will be given to artists exploring light, music, technology, new media, interactivity and/or multidisciplinary art forms.
