RCP Companies, The Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville, Redstone Federal Credit Union, the City of Huntsville and Arts Huntsville are seeking Statements of Qualifications from artists interested in creating artwork to be sited in Huntsville’s Big Spring Park and adjacent CityCentre at Big Spring development in the City’s downtown arts and entertainment district.

This project is a large-scale public-private partnership of 5 different organizations in Huntsville and is seeking artists to produce artwork to be sited in Downtown Huntsville’s Big Spring Park and the new $100 million CityCentre Development adjacent to the park. The all-inclusive artist award for the project is $530,000 and includes travel costs for the site visit and proposal presentation. Up to four semi-finalist artists or artistic teams will receive $3,000 as an honorarium to create and present a design proposal.

The deadline to apply is February 15th, 2019 at 11:59 PM MST.
