We’ve written contracts in the past, but they were not for commissions between the City and the artist. They were between the Arts Council and the artist. I’m just hoping to see the kind of contract a city
creates. Thank you all.

Hello Public Art Community,
I am hoping someone might have examples of contracts you’ve used for commissioned public art on public land. I have contracts for smaller scale projects that were not commissioned by a government entity, plus I have the rather comprehensive
“ANNOTATED MODEL PUBLIC ART COMMISSION AGREEMENT” that AFTA published in 2005, but I it would be great to have an apple to compare our apple to, rather than oranges and cornucopias.
I thank you for any examples you would feel comfortable sharing.
Best,
Pax
