Music Composition and Performance
Local and national composers and musical artists are invited to submit qualifications for Inglewood Growing Artists’ Performed Projects (IGAPP) to create and perform an original musical composition for the City of Inglewood public art program. A contemporary composer or lyricist/instrumentalist, individual or team, will create a composition for Inglewood civic celebrations and municipal events for audiences of all ages and debut/perform the work conjunction with a City of Inglewood, CA celebration in late 2019 or early 2020.
The City has allocated $12,000 for this unique public art/ composition commission contract. Deadline to receive online applications is 11 p.m. Pacific Time Monday March 22, 2019. Only online applications will be accepted through CallforEntry.org
