Joanna,

We went with Deco Mark for durability. If you look at Chinatown on my public art page you will see the project. If you contact me off line I can give you the local installer etc.

Do you have a design?

We are piloting our first street mural and debating between using an epoxy paint (Street Bond) or thermoplastic (Deco Mark).

There seem to be pros and cons to both - basically epoxy is cheaper, will deteriorate more quickly, but easier to touch up. The thermoplastic is more expensive, will last much longer, and the process of just handing a vector file to the installer seems dreamy from a project management perspective.

Is there anyone out there that has chosen one as opposed to the other and would be kind enough to explain why? Has anyone had particularly good or bad experiences with either material?

Thank you!
