The Florida Sunshine Law prohibits any gathering, whether formal or casual, of two or more members of the same board or commission to discuss some matter on which foreseeable action will be taken by the public board. If such a meeting is not publicly noticed or the public is precluded from attending in any way, City business may not be discussed. Please note that under Florida’s very broad public records law, email communications to and from public officials are subject to public disclosure.
