Here are two examples from RDG Dahlquist Art Studio of bridges

Also, we did an installation at an LRT station to camouflage a sound barrier wall, which might be applicable.

Subject: Public art and bridges

Hello all,

Does anyone have experience or resources you can point me toward for the intersection of public art and bridges?  Specifically, in my community, we are looking for ways to utilize public art to either mask a viewscape that is rather industrial or steer the viewer's eye away from the industrialized area.  Additionally, I am looking for examples of artistic approaches to creating guard rails.

Thanks,

Michelle
