Hello, Kay –
During the PAN preconference at AFTA earlier this month, Gülgün Kayim, Director of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy for the City of Minneapolis,
co-led the Artist-Municipal Partnerships thread. She illuminated the meaningful impacts of the Creative CityMaking Program she launched in 2013. Among other participants who took part in that thread’s programming,
Anna Meyer and Roxanne Anderson spoke to the work they were recently contracted to begin as Creative CityMaking Artists. They’re working with the City of Minneapolis’ Department of Neighborhood and
Community Relations on the 2020 Census.
