The artist Heather Clark created a ‘Living River’ in the shape of a double helix covered in sedum plants as part of public art piece  that is also an outdoor amphitheater programmed by the Frederick Arts Council.

It is watered by a self-watering system that includes a rain-filled cistern.

It works well, remains beautiful, and is low-maintenance. For more info visit www.skystagefrederick.com

Hello All:

Has anyone worked with an artist to create a Living Wall?  If so, pros and cons?

Thanks!
