Hi Everyone!

If you are looking for fabricators, installation, or other professional services for public art projects you are welcome to use our free CODAworx Industry Directory. This is a resource for public art professionals, art consultants, artists, and other creatives looking to find industry professionals to collaborate with and can be filtered by location. In the Industry Directory today are listed over 638 companies, 152 of those are metal foundries and 69 are glass fabricators. The directory not only lists contact information for these resources, but also includes links to projects they are showcasing on our site, so you can see examples of past projects they've collaborated on.

We do offer a fee-based service, where we can run a Fabrication Request for Bids that goes out to our network fabricators (similar to an artist RFQ) to help you find the right fabricator at an affordable price (We usually see a 20% savings on fabrication costs after running an RFB). For those who may need help finding fine art shippers or installation insurance CODAworx has built partnerships to help with these needs as well.

Many of the fabricators people have recommended you can find already listed in the Industry Directory and I'll will reach out to some of the new ones folks have mentioned to let them know they can list their services for free on our site.

Let me know if you have any questions about these resources!

Best,

Nick Anderson

I hope that all the foundry recommendations are being captured somehow...when I was on the PAN Council, we tried to keep a fabricators/services database which could be used as a resource.  It would be useful to artists and agencies, and be especially useful when we need resources in certain geographic areas.

It is great to see there are so many great fabricators out there.

Guess those tariffs are working...

I've had quality work from Walla Walla - can't say they'll be inexpensive. I also think they'd have the capacity for a project of that size.

Good luck Rebecca, sounds like an amazing project.
