I have posted here before, that I have USPAP certification and am a member of AAA in New York. I do estate planning working with living artists and estate trustees. I also publish books on mature and deceased artists who are under-recognized.

You can look up appraisers near you on the AAA website, however, all appraisers have areas of specialization and travel for work.

One of my areas of specialization is contemporary public art sited outdoors.

I’ve recently had a few artists tell me that they are starting to think about their estate planning and making decisions about what to do with the studio artwork they’ve created and amassed over the years. Does anyone have any good resources specifically for artists? I’m happy to collect responses and share with others who may also find information on this topic helpful.
