Here are examples of some that we have here in Reno. We commissioned these in 2004 (60 of them for $40,000, I believe). They are steel, aluminum, and copper. They go on the standard banner attachments for the light poles. They have held up pretty well (the kinetic parts have been vandalized some because they are reachable by jumping--I'd recommend placing them high enough to be out of reach!).

Good idea to check but Probably Not an issue if you keep the sculpture weight down. Seven lbs or less is what we had to keep the weight down to here in DC.

For attachment we used either the standard blade sign or buckle brackets available from MD Solutions

Hello, you may want to have the idea engineered first to make sure you’re not setting the lamp poles up for any unanticipated aeolian vibration that can cause the lamp anchor bolts at the bottom to shear off and then the lamp pole falls over – on a car...

Happy Monday PAN Pals,

I’m working with our Parks Department to create a project scope and budget for fabricating, permitting, installing aluminum panel sculptures for lamp posts.

If you’ve done a similar project, I sure would appreciate images of the works, and budget info.

Thank you!
