I'd like to propose a session for the Public Art & Civic Design section on artist-led efforts to revitalize neighborhood main streets using creative place-making strategies for equitable economic development.

Is there anyone in this group who has had demonstrable results with cultural interventions that address, for example, vacant storefronts, revitalization without displacement of artists and long-time residents?

While I'm on the subject, let me know if you'll be attending the Reclaiming Vacant Properties conference in Nashville on Oct. 2 so we can meet up.
