Hi Michelle--There is no standard rate. It depends on the exact terms of the loan: for example, what support do you provide them for installation, and how long is the loan for?We have a program here in Indianapolis that pays $5,000 for a 3-year loan but provides no installation support. We have another program that provides $2,000 for a 2-year loan and provides staff and equipment for installation. And we have another program that pays $1,000 for a 1-year loan for a very small space that requires no special installation equipment. So it really varies.Hope this helps!Julia Muney MooreDirector of Public ArtArts Council of Indianapolis924 N. I am also seeking standard fees for public engagement for the artist. I live in Wyoming and guess that the standard rate may be affected by the work being done in the Rocky Mountain region.Additionally, what is the current perspective on paying a stipend to selection committee members for a rotating art program? Thanks for any input you may have.Sincerely,MichelleMichelle VisserDirectorLaramie Public Art Coalition307-223-LPAC (5722)"I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for." ~ Georgia O'KeeffeTo unsubscribe from this list please go to http://archives.simplelists.com
