REMINDER!

Hi PAN Listserv,

Would you like to take on an active role as a member of Americans for the Arts? Or know of a standout public art professional from your community whose ideas could benefit the field? Americans for the Arts wants you!

The Public Art Network (PAN) Advisory Council aims to help educate those in the arts and non-arts field on the role of public art in communities and to highlight Americans for the Arts’ resources created for the public art field. Elected from the Americans for the Arts’ Public Art Network membership, PAN Council members bring a level of expertise to the table that enables them to be a resource for AFTA members and the public art field as a whole. PAN Advisory Council members understand that public art looks and operates differently for every program and is unique to each community. They are inclusive and open to all those making public art happen in communities across the U.S. and are receptive to the range of possibilities with the public art field.

Nominations close Friday, October 4, 2019 at 5:00 PM EST and can be submitted by filling out the nomination form. Members and non-members are welcome to submit nominations; however, nominees must be members of Americans for the Arts. For questions about membership, visit our online Member center or contact membership@artsusa.org.

All nominations will be reviewed for the ballot by current advisory council members. Incoming advisory council members for the 2020-2022 term will be established by a popular vote by Americans for the Arts members in November.
