have you seen the project that Mel Chin did, Wake & Unmoored, in Times Square in 2018? It engaged both a physical sculpture and an augmented reality experience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Psm1c6ACF9M He worked with Microsoft for this version, but I understand from a recent conversation that he is looking to work with someone to make the experience fully open source software for a re-sited version.
