Tricia Wasney is an independent arts administrator with extensive experience and leadership roles in policy development and arts programming. She developed the public art policy and program for the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 2002 and managed the program until 2018, through the Winnipeg Arts Council. This experience provided her with broad knowledge of diverse public arts programming from intimate community collaborations to large scale international commissions and public art masterplanning. Tricia has worked extensively with artists, civic governmental structures, designers, engineers, arts council and municipal staff and others to integrate art into public spaces and capital projects.

All,

I will be sending out an RFP next year to hire a consulting firm to provide a public art fee study for a potential new percent for art fee. I have two questions for this group:

• Do you have any recommended firms which you have used that I should add to my distribution list?
• If you have done a similar study, how much did you spend? (Please share your population with this – we are a small community of 27,000, so I want to be able to scale up/down depending on size of comparison agency)
