He managed Federation Square with its LED Screen that included public use for the arts.  And he was the president of the International Urban Screens Association, now defunk.

Hello colleagues:

Indianapolis has recently launched a new nightly projection display in our main civic space, Monument Circle. (info here) The partnership made a massive investment in high-quality equipment, video-mapping, and sound technology that will be made available for others to develop their own projections, including for civic events and for artistic expression.

The Arts Council is assisting the technology owner with their process of creating guidelines to ensure that future users of the technology meet artistic quality and content standards, including setting strict limits on visual effects, product placement, and sponsorship acknowledgments, in order to smooth the permitting process with our city historic preservation folks and the state monuments commission.

If you have developed similar projects and guidelines, I'd love to hear from you to understand what you're using and how they came to be.  Happy to discuss one-on-one if that's preferred.

Thanks in advance,

Julia Muney Moore (she/her/hers)
