Hi All,
For those of you with larger quantities of murals in your programs have you standardized your anti-graffiti coating requirements in an effort to streamline products for graffiti removal?

I know many (especially conservators) prefer that murals receive sacrificial coatings but in all honestly that extra step of re-application can make a difference in who can complete the graffiti removal, and the frequency of removal.

Do you generally allow artists to put together their own "cocktail" of paints/pigments + coatings - or do you have specified materials that they can choose from?

Also, do you impose the same requirements for community projects that are proposed for public buildings.

Thanks - will be curious to hear what others are doing. Also, feel free to DM if you have specific info/issues/warnings that you'd rather not circulate broadly.

If people would like I'm happy to scrub names and provide the feedback.
