KINETIC ARTISTS INVITED OUTDOOR EXHIBIT CALL DEADLINE APRIL 17, 2020

International Kinetic Art Biennial

Art that Moves... Art that Moves You

This one-of-a-kind art and cultural event transforms downtown Boynton Beach, FL into an immersive interactive experience, which transcends typical art fairs, educates, and engages a diverse audience about public art. Kinetic artwork is showcased to stimulate inspiring conversations, multi-generational experiences, and lasting impressions.

The City of Boynton Beach Art in Public Places program created the International Kinetic Art Biennial in 2012 as an event that educates and promotes advanced learning with the goal of understanding the value of public art. Kinetic art combine S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) principles to stimulate new art forms, technological and environmental advancements.

Conveniently located in South Florida near the ocean, Boynton Beach offers abundant natural resources for kinetic to move such as sun, wind and water. There isn’t a better place to host this event.
