Hi PAN Listserv,
Today, I launched “Community Engagement in the Time of COVID-19” blog aimed at public art administrators, the posting has resources, field stories and other information to help our
various constituents on how to implement community engagement while practicing social distancing. It touches on how to manage closed meetings, such as artists selection panels and grant panels, public events such as arts commission meetings and community workshops,
and low-tech options for community members where access to high-speed internet and computers are limited.
Much of the information shared was gathered through the PAN Listserv, so please continue to share resources and stories on how community engagement events are manifesting during the pandemic.
Please do feel free to share!
“Community Engagement in the Time of COVID-19” provides insight, resources, and recommendations to maintain community engagement for public art projects and programs as we all work
to promote health and safety in our communities.
Hope everyone is safe and healthy!
