Hello all,

I hope that you're all staying safe and well right now. A national call we have open is going to be closing on Monday and we have been trying to keep projects on track to ensure we are getting as many checks out to artists as possible in the coming months... but it's looking like with everything going on, people's attention is divided at best. If anybody was able to share this opportunity with your networks either from the link below through our social media (Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/urbanartcommission/, Instagram: @urbanartmemphis), we would be incredibly grateful.

Let me know if y'all have any questions and thank you for what you are doing for your communities!

Happy Monday, good folks,

UAC has launched a new Request for Qualifications for a large-scale, suspended sculpture for our reimagined Memphis International Airport. The call is open to artists based in the United States and will close on Monday, April 6, 2020. Full details can be found by following the link below.

We are particularly interested in submissions from artists of color, which we have found to be significantly lower on calls at this scale. We hope that you are able to share with your networks and please let us know if you have any questions!

Artists and neighborhoods are at the core of UAC’s mission. During these anxious times, we are aiming to keep as many projects (and checks to artists) moving forward as possible. We appreciate your attention and support, and are here for any questions you may have.
