Dear Public Art Network,

Americans for the Arts has developed the Arts Agency scholarship to support the professional development of arts agencies that are facing financial strain due to the COVID-19 crisis. Priority will be given to individuals that identify as people of color, LGBTQIA or those living in Rural communities. Scholarships will be provided to organization and individual members of Americans for the Arts that have lost or are facing the loss of professional development funds as agency budgets are under threat.

This scholarship will provide one complimentary registration to the virtual convening of the Annual Convention and Public Art & Civic Design Conference, June 23 - June 25. Recipients will be selected through a staff review process prioritizing under-represented populations and impact on their work.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, June 10 at 11:59 p.m. (ET). Scholarship applicants must be current members of Americans for the Arts. (Not a member? You can join today to become eligible for scholarships.) Please note you must join at the Colleague level or higher to be eligible to apply. You can apply here: https://www.americansforthearts.org/events/annual-convention/2020-annual-convention-and-public-art-civic-design-conference-arts-agency-scholarship-application.
