Hi PAN Listserv,
Sharing our usual weekly roundup feels difficult this week. However, we didn't want to miss the chance to highlight two new professional development opportunities for individuals who are traditionally underrepresented in the arts field.
Click here to read the Weekly Web Roundup for June 1-5, which includes links to the following content:
- Information on the
brand-new Arts Agency Scholarship to the Annual Convention + Public Art & Civic Design conference, with priority given to individuals who identify as people of color, LGBTQIA, or those living in Rural communities (deadline is Wednesday, June 10)
- The
launch of DIAL.studio, a free six-part webinar series designed for pre- and early-career arts leaders traditionally underrepresented in the field who are looking to learn more about working in the arts
- Americans for the Arts’ statement on supporting Black communities #BlackLivesMatter
- A joint statement by Americans for the Arts and 52 other national organizations on why Arts Education is Essential for all students, including those who are in traditionally underrepresented
groups
- A remembrance of the artist Christo, recipient of the Artistic Excellence Award at the 2003 National Arts Awards, who passed away this week at age 84
As always, we welcome your feedback and appreciate sharing this content with your networks.
