We have done RFQs in Spanish for certain calls, and we have a grant program we are about to launch where we will translate it into any language other than English for the convenience of the applicant.

Hi all,

The Arts and Science Council is doing research around creating multilingual grant applications and public art RFQs. I am curious if PAN members have any particular insights into this process. Below I’ve listed a few specific questions I have, and I would love any other information anyone can provide.

  • Does your organization provide multilingual translations of your RFQs/RFPs?

  • Does your organization accept applications in languages other than English?

  • What challenges have you experienced as you’ve developed multilingual applications?

  • What advice would you give for developing a successful multilingual application process?

Thank you!
