This is terrible, Karl.  Have you been in touch with Aaron von Ehlinger’s office to see if there is any advocacy work that can done?  Sounds like there is a huge amount of education needed—maybe it presents an opportunity to do some legislative outreach?

Subject: Idaho State Public Art Expenditures Resolution

Good Afternoon Public Art Colleagues,

This morning, the Idaho State Legislature introduced the attached resolution requiring a 2/3 majority public approval vote on any public art project using tax dollars with a budget over $10,000. I am curious if anyone here has dealt with proposed legislation of this nature. Any resources, talking points, past examples, and/or additional information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
