Hi Jen--Indy projects you might like--check out the area behind the Indiana Statehouse where they have a shallow water feature with lighting.  Also look at Eskenazi Hospital at their main public entrance, where there are 2 different kinds of water features, one an ebbing shallow pool (really just a skin of water) and the other more of a quarry-feature with flowing water.

We are considering adding an artistic water feature to one of our parks. We are looking to use an existing pad, size of 12’ x 12’ with existing water hookup. For scale, we’d like the feature to be 8-10 feet tall and are looking for something without a “pool” at the base. We are trying to get an idea for future budgeting purposes for a piece of this size. Piece would have to be durable to withstand Indiana weather, and be relatively simple to winterize.  Does anyone have experience with installing something similar or contracting with artists to design something of this nature? If so, please let me know sources to seek out, or if a call-out would be best, and what range of valuation we should apply to an item of this type.

Any help is much appreciated! Thank you!
