Hi,

I'd like to submit a call for qualifications for public art. Please see the info below and let me know if you need more info. I've also submitted to the website that Patricia mentioned below.

The City of East Providence is seeking qualifications from artists for a two-year lease of an existing piece of outdoor public art. See the summary below.

All the submission details are in this link: https://eastprovidenceri.gov/rfp/2021/watchemoket-square-public-art

The City of East Providence (The City) is seeking one (1) leasable, pre-existing, outdoor sculpture to be installed for two years in the Watchemoket Square Waterfront Gateway Sculpture Garden in East Providence, Rhode Island. This will be a temporary two-year installation with the option for the City to extend the lease at the end of two years or purchase outright. Purchase price will be based on the difference between the assessed value of the piece and artists fees paid up to the time of sale.

Artists must submit a digital version and three (3) hard copies in a sealed envelope to East Providence City Hall, Controllers Office, Room 103, Attn: Dawn Kenney, Procurement Specialist, 145 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI 02914 no later than FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2021 AT 11AM. The outside envelope needs to be marked RFQ EP20/21-27.
