Dear Colleagues: Santa Monica Cultural Affairs is seeking a consultant/consultant team for a public engagement project around the Santa Monica City Hall Murals. Local to Southern California preferred; selected consultant would be required to execute some on-site activities. Previous experience in civic art, diverse public engagement, planning, data-gathering and assessment is sought.

The consultant/consultant team will plan and execute a public engagement process that will provide opportunities for the community to learn and participate in discussions about civic histories and representations in public spaces in Santa Monica, and specifically, in Historic City Hall. This phase of the project will culminate in a final report and not a permanent artwork, but will include temporary art activities/installations.
