Hello Dierdre,
We just launched a Bloomington South Loop Public Art Guide on the
Otocast App last year. It was a very smooth and easy process, Eric Feinstein (eric.feinstein@otocast.com) is great to work with. We provided a spreadsheet of info for each piece and photos. He did the rest, including getting
audio clips from artists. We liked that there are 250+ guides from throughout the country in the app, so people can download and use the app for various cities. Pros are that we can have a baseline to measure some data and that the developer makes the updates
for us, so it is easy to maintain.
Best,
Ale

Subject: App for Public Art
Hi! Here in Arlington, VA we are exploring the idea of using an app to highlight and promote our public art collection. I am looking for insights, pros/cons, anecdotes about having an app and also what applications others have used. Thanks
in advance for sharing.
Best,
Deirdre
